It is reported that he gave proof of his identity as Satoshi Nakomoto by digitally signing a message using the same cryptographic key that was created a few days after the creation of bitcoin, a key that could have been known by only the creator of bitcoin. Speculations about the identity of Craig Wright as Satoshi began last year and his house was subsequently raided by Australian authorities in connection to investigations involving tax payments.
