We all know that the very highest level of the Nigerian police rank is the Inspector General Of Police, (IGP) while at the tail bottom, we now have the Police Recruit . Usually that will make him to earn like 5k more than you monthly.

If this informaotion is correct:

* It means the Nigerian police has not been respecting the legal minimum wage of N18,000/month.
* Question: How many government establishments are also paying much less than the legal wage of N18,000/month?

These people are expected to provide security but States have security votes sent to Governors every year.

How do you explain to a non-Nigerian that the IGP of police earn about N10 million/annum after about 3 decades in service but a lawmaker goes home with upward of N200 million/annum?

There are two types of ASP: ASP II and ASP. That is ASP unconfirm ( 1 star) and ASP confirm (2 stars). After passing out cadet Asp training for General Duty (GD) officers pass out as 1 star and are on probation of 12-18 months b4 dey are confirmed 2 stars as for specialist Doctors pass out with 2 stars within short time promoted to DSP n SP in some cases while other specialist pass out as 1 star and are confirmed to 2 stars after one year. But all d same they are Supol (superior police officer).
