The Federal government of Nigeria should disarm the alleged Fulani-herdsmen with immediate effect through any possible means. This is the first and the best approach to stopping the casualties which are always being reported to be caused by these men. Or better still, The Federal Government of Nigeria should approve and give each and every citizen of this country regardless of tribe, language or religion the freedom to possess arms. this is equal right and justice. But I believe the former is better than the latter. IF NOT....any other biased means of tackling this menace will prove futile and the Country Nigeria may eventually head for the rock.

APC Governors and members of the Northern Governors Forum yesterday, paid a condolence visit to Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, following the recent attack by some herdsmen in Nimbo community in the state on April 25th. The governors were led by their chairman, Owelle Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and chairman of Northern Governors’ Forum, Kashim Shettima.


Speaking at the meeting, Governor Shettima likened the trauma being faced by Nimbo people and indeed the entire Enugu State to that of victims of Boko Haram insurgency in Borno State. He applauded the people of Enugu State for their peaceful conduct since the attack happened.

"In this kind of situation, it is easy to play to the gallery; it is easier to call for revenge, but Enugu people remained calm. We have to find these killers who should be treated as criminals; they are criminals; they need to be treated as such. The Igbos are very industrious, very accommodating, very enterprising; we must build this nation together. We must build this nation as brothers". he said

Benue State Governor is to be blame here. When the Agatu massacre occurred, the man practically did nothing, whereas the Enugu Governor took instant proactive measures.

Buhari came to Kano in his campaign & shed tears. he said the reason for the tears is that he can't stand hearing how d innocent loose their lives in d northeast & that's why PDP must be voted out. now, Shettima is trying to tell us that d incompetence of PDP to cubb d crime of bokoharam is small compared to what will happen or is happening under APC. what a mockery visit. so people of Enugu & southeast should learn to live with d problem northeast had lived with- that's Shettima's view. Boko haram came up from the north, made of northern indigenes who saw no value to preserve in their region & decided to ravage their region. d north was angry against d wise south for preserving their region. this explains d real mission of APC in government- to make d South feel d same ill north bought upon themselves. to revenge on the south's quietness over the devastation the north brought upon themselves. what a mockery visit by d northern APC governors.
