The Africa Design Expo (ADE) is a world class showcase that presents a complete impression into the world of designers, artists, architects and

fashion houses from Africa and the Africa Diaspora.

A four day exposition of a whole blend of gallery with all the accoutrement, furniture workshop, fashion gallery, jewelry, make up and cosmetics, architectural outfit and many more would be on showcase as each section of the banquet hall would be devoted to different aspect of creative enterprise.

Under the direction of Queen Ahneva Ahneva, ADE 2009 will be hosted by the Eko Hotels and Suites Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria from the October 7th –11th 2009. More than seeing the latest and greatest designs and learning where you can find them.

ADE presents an exciting opportunity for designers in all fields to demonstrate how Africa is pushing the boundaries of design and fashion to the next level.


During ADE attendees may participate in workshops, view demonstrations with some hands-on opportunities, learn some do-it-yourself design tips and tricks, and have the opportunity to attend receptions to meet celebrities and industry professionals. 

Attendees will also be treated to daily fashion shows, wardrobe and personal style consultations, and opportunities to interact with the many fashion designers, fashion retailers, and home/office interior designers exhibiting in the Africa Design Expo.  Some of the products on display will be available for purchase on the last day of the show.

Each person or business that applies for an exhibit opportunity will be reviewed on the basis of design appropriateness, quality of their product or service, and exhibit booth design to ensure compatibility with ADE show design standards and requirements.


Already, corporate organizations have begun to show interest in the package. The growing list already includes Jata Logistics Limited, Nike Art Gallery, Design Union as well as Grafix and Text(www.grafixntext.com), joining forces with Eko Hotels and Suites as the host of the event.
