Scammers and their many tricks. I received a text informing me of my atm card being deactivated and the need to call a particular customer representative to rectify the issue. Knowing this was a fraudulent attempt, I decided to play along and called the line. The receiver told me they are from 'CBN bank'. This was their first error, CBN bank ko CBN bank ni. I still aacted along and he proceeded to ask for my atm card number, the Security and my atm pin. I gave the fools wrong digits and they enquired if I activated online funds transfer to which I answered in the affirmative. I could sense the excitement in their voices as they thanked their stars that 'maga don pay' ...well, I'm sure they will still be trying to access the account till now. Please be careful with the kind of info u disclose online about your accounts and note that your bank will NEVER ask you for your pin. Have a blessed day.
