Are the yoruba's free at the moment? See how one of them created this thread in support of their masters, and you talk about freedom?

You really want this, don't you?
Well, history tells me that the day a slave will be free is the day he looks his aggressor in the eye and tell him;

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Do doubt! But freedom doesn't necessarily have to resort to violence. Lol.

As we pray for peace and the continued existence of our dear country Nigeria, some sections of the country needs to understand that violence is not the solution. The recent riot in Aba is a reference point in such cases. It was alleged (without proof) that an Hausa man stabbed an Igbo guy to death and immediately the IGBOS resorted to reprisals. It is so unfortunate that the easterners could react in such a brutal manner. Why can't you arrest the Hausa man and hand him over to the police? Two wrongs will never make a right. How can you kill in order to avenge the death of another? Southerners generally are known to be peaceful either SW/SS or SE. We should not be tempted to act like animals who don't value lives all because of retaliation and jungle justice. The IGBOS should remember they are the most travelled tribe and they have more IGBOS up north than Hausa/fulanis in the SE. The actions in Aba could put the IGBOS in the north in trouble if the northerners decides to retaliate. The north has been known for their aggressive approach to confrontations and in order to avoid a scenario of the civil war, I implore the IGBOS to embrace diplomacy and peace. No body has the monopoly of violence. The northerners and the herdsmen are Nigerians and they have the right to live and do their business in any part of the country. They should not be stigmatised because of the attitudes of a few bad eggs amongst them. The recent Aba clashes is a result of the staunch hatred and bile Nnamdi Kanu preached on radio Biafra. He poisoned the minds of millions of IGBOS and made them un patriotic. He called for the death of Yoruba and Hausa fulanis and the results is the clashes we have today. This is why people like Nnamdi Kanu does not deserve freedom. He is a threat to national security. The solutions to this incessant clashes is to support the grazing bill so the federal government can create grazing reserves for the fulanis in every state of the country. Even the governor of Ebonyi state agreed that the grazing bill is the only path to peaceful coexistence. The IGBOS need to learn from Yorubas peaceful nature. This is why the SW is the most peaceful region in the country. Yorubas are slow to anger no matter the level of provocation. It's not cowardice but diplomacy. I will not support the killing of anyone in any form. We must respect the sanctity of life and stop acting like animals. Until the IGBOS begin to see Nigeria as their home and forget the evil thought of Biafra, they will keep seeing others as enemies especially the northerners. Lord luggard saw a great potential in our diversity before merging us. Let's works together to make Nigeria great. Say no to senseless killings. Btw I'm Yoruba and just making #commonsense cool

Well, freedom in its pure and undiluted form is only achieved through violent resistance.

No Tyrant in human history has ever surrendered his advantage and tyranny COMPLETELY without been violently resisted.

OP is outright MAD. Any southern politician (yoruba, Igbo, ijaw or edo etc.) that supports the grazing reserve bill is a sell out and must be impeached. What nonsense.

I dont know why people people like joborskill exists in this nation. I am sorry to say this: we all saw what happend at Enugu not long ago.
Reading this type of writeup by joborskil shows that there are people in this country that hate igbos to bone.
I cant support violence; not in mylife but check the record of violence & sectional killings in nigeria, it seems people from northern part are given the right to kill others while they should be pampered.
It is in this country that Igbos in the north was killed cos someone in far away Parkistan criticsed Mohammed. Does it mean that a section of this country has monopoly for murder while others lot will be to bury their deads and murn?
Joborskill i am highly disaointed in you because you are here turning the whole thing that happend in Aba into accusation.
Why is it that hausa fulani men dont report to police when they feel offended but will always use their daga & knives which is lawful for them to carry about but unlawfull for Igbos to carry.
Joboskill stop writing trash like this because we all are not fools & this is not 1967. Stop blaming Nnamdi Kalu. You want Aba people to keep calm untilthey will become like Agatu people. Our dear president didnt make any public statement nor even press release till date on Agatu issue. Even when David Mark was attacked there, he still close his ears and eyes.

Joborskill, Igbos has always been at the recieving end since after the war. You cant slap a child and also stop him from crying.

I am not in support of riot or destruction of any man‘s life. Whether yoruba, hausa, tiv, fulani or igbo.

But please stop this type of trash.

freedom is taken and not given.
Go to the bible, look at moses & pharao. Check out israel and mobites, amorites & philistians.

Jesue took human freedom by dying a violent death even at that nobody gets that freedom without fighting his way out of sin.
No freedom ever came without some level of blood splashing on the ground.

Lol, @Joborskill so kanu's radio is evil. i laugh in swahilil because you only call it evil cos the so-called giant of africa couldn't jam a single radio from the indomitable gentle lion Nnamdi Kanu.

You confused the works of JESUS with the need for physical freedom. But let me tell you this;

Israel as a nation has one more major battle to fight. It's a physical battle. And CHRIST on HIS second coming will be part of that battle.

CHRIST is not against war.

I will like to ask Op something. When you push someone to the wall, what do you expect?

SS,SW and SE are known to be peaceful and we expect the N to accept same and stop killing our people. I doubt if I expect anything lessthan reprisal from the S.

To end violence, the North should endure and maintain peace as much as the South has.

BIAFRA IS DEAD AND BURIED. LIVE WITH IT
But seriously his post makes a lot of sense...if Igbos were in an independent entity, Fulani and Awusas won't have the temerity to try such kos they'd have no protector
Igbo culture and tradition is almost 4000yrs old..and it's a shame to be yoked to barbarians who can't get out of their 7th century AD mindset. Thank God that the one Nigeria Igbos are slowly coming to realize that undecided

You are not a yoruba man. I feel like saying your papa dia. I only imagine how the foolanis takes sourtherners for a for? How do sourtherners all foolanis to continue using divide and rule on them. To an extent an almajiri fool like these one is doing thesame. When foolanis where killing people what do say about it.... Diplomacy indeed tswara. Go and tell your foolanis brothers no single land for them. If they want to graze they should do that on their lands or rent or buy lands for grazing. Who do you expect to give them his land? Farmer doesn't force any one out of their land the use their lands or buy for farming. NO GRAZING LAND FOR FOOLANIS. GET THAT? OR READY TO KILL ALL FARMERS IADIAT

The issues cannot be narrowed to any one tribe or any one incident. Nomadic murderers are slaughtering people across the country including Benue, Taraba, Nasarawa, Plateau which are "fellow Northern States". Criminals, militant, kdinappers, rapists and arsonists are also on the prowl. Inter-ethnic violence have occurred in Lagos, Jos, Kaduna etc. Killings by ANY tribe, ANY religion should not be rationalized or accepted. All of them are symptomatic of deeper issues. We condemn these Aba killings. We condemn the massacre in Enugu. We condemn the Agatu killings. We condemn violence and killings everywhere. All Nigerians deserve to be respected and protected by government and the security forces.
those middlebelt states you mentioned are minority people in the north. Call our attention when fulanis start attacking their brothers in the north east and west.
