Can some1 help me I travelled from Kaduna to abuja topped my engine oil b4 leaving when I got to abuja I noticed that the engine oil had dried pls what could be d fault. |

Its Toyota 2az engine oil consumption issue.
I guess you drive at top speed/accelerate hard too. |

bliss11:Bros ,your engine is smoking but u wont notice since it occurs at high RPM. To confirm ,put your car park ,let your engine idle for about 15 minute .Try to rev it to about 5000 rpm and check for white smoke behind your tailpipe. |

bliss11: 1: Early model 2AZ engines (01-06) have slight oil burning defect from factory. Its a known well documented fact but its not as quick as you've explained. 2: alot of folks have consulted me on various ocassions to ask why Mobil (mobil 1 5w30) bought at some private resellers dried up in their engines, i dont know why cos ive not used mobil oil before. 3: Gather minimum of NGN220,000 for another engine. You're losing that engine faster than you think due to the rate of oil burning. |

bliss11:Before you start thinking of replacing the engine ,try to actually confirm by looking for a tech shop to perform compression test and leak down test to truly know if the cause is through a worn piston .If the issue is worn ring issue then u can start ur preparation for new engine |
