Go to themes on your phone. From search bar, Type aafont. If nothing displays, go to settings and then change ur region to india then back to themes again and search again typing aafont.

who knows the issue that update might cause? since its new and no one has tried it out yet. i will advice u to wait for miui 9 global stable since its couple of days ahead; Which will also come with many features and Android update

to me i think it worths it, the default launcher is customizable with many HD themes to pick from. Eversince i started using miui I've never felt the need to switch launchers;so u know, m a launcher savvy typa pson in the days of next launcher and GO dem. But if u feel like u miss the app drawer, u can go ahead and switch launchers otherwise that app drawer has become archaic its always nice to try out something new for a change.
