Hi everyone...beautiful Sunday.....how does Dhl work when buying phones in aliexpress...some shops do dhl....hope our customs won't intercept the device or is it better to do normal shipping rates....cheers

DHL is better and safe if you can afford it. Custom will not. Though there is Express shipping method outside of aliexpress dat looks like DHL.

Even if Nigerian Customs do not intercept your phone, dh l's will. Be ready to pay almost the cost of the phone for 'customs duty'. If they sense that you're soft, they'll tell you ndlea, nafdac too will inspect your item and might likely require u to pay too.
Use them if you're ready for d above, otherwise do normal shipping jejely. kiss

I tell u, victims can reflect. My experience together with theloveth with them was hell. It took item 2days from Hongkong to lagos but dhl released it about two weeks afterwards after paying 19k+ with loads of airtime to call them. Aliexpress shipping at that time used to be 2weeks or lesser sef.
Many other people have reported same experiences, some created threads to that effect here on NL sef

Ah, guess you didn't see the nairalander that fell for their scam. I joined in raining curses on them buddy.
He imported a Xioami phone I think, and NDLEA entered the picture. Of course, the same DHL we are talking about.

The fault is frm the seller. He did not use the 'NO CUSTOM EU POLICY'. That was what happened in dis case. A client of mine got his package sent through FedEx dis past week and he dnt encounter any problem whatsoever. I have never encounter such thing since have been into this shipping thing. I am not doubting you though. We should all just be careful with whatever seller we deal with sha
