wen u talk of battery capacity,remember d S2 has a display of 720p with snapdragon 625 so d power consumption will be lesser,d camera resolution better dan d Redmi 5 plus..2 nano +sd card advantage

Well I could argue that both are very good and cater for different consumers.

Power or dedicated sd card slot and superior camera.

For me I would tilt towards the redmi s2. The sd625 with 3000mah would still last long no matter what you throw at it and heck I can choose to buy the 3/32 and slap a 128gb sd card on it while still using my 2 Sims. It's a winner for me.

The official price of the base configuration is $157. So it's much expensive than the redmi 5 plus.

after checking gsmarena, the redmi s2 beats the redmi 5 plus in these areas
camera
more 4g bands
dedicated sd card slot.
The redmi s2 isn't FHD, has lesser battery capacity, lesser screen to body ratio and can't record 4k videos (even though redmi 5 plus is poor in recording 4k videos.)
that's what I saw sha. Corrections are appreciated
