Everyone has options, the way it's sounding it's as if you enjoy your device more than those on miui. By multitask you mean? Most persons don't need over 10 apps opened simultaneously. If Miui is bad why is this thread this trendy? Why does virtually every new user of Xiaomi stick with Xiaomi? It's definitely because of the sweet mix of miui with a solid hardware. The credit goes to Miui not any custom rom out there. If I may ask, how many skinned Android fare better than miui, because by my unfounded estimate, over 75% of Android users use Skinned Android .

U are mixing things up... Nobody is discouraging anyone from using his or her phone for adventure. Custom ROM is cool (it is even not perfect), that doesn't nullify the fact that a newbie can get his phone bricked, even after taking time to read. It's just a disclaimer, don't take it as if some people mandated it on this thread that u shouldn't flash Ur phone anyone.

Am sure you ain't a newbie here, there were times when every new member that joined the thread back then tot if they don't root and flash their Xiaomi phones they can't enjoy it. This notion was built up in them cos of the way most gurus were discussing about rooting and flashing, making them being mislead.

Rem, it's ur phone, u are free to do whatever u want to do with it.

My point is that other members should not discouraged anyone that is trying to root and flash custom rom on there phone. An average person want choose to use there phone the way it come because they don't know anything about custom rom and its advantages.

I use to see some annoying ads in my phone file manager when I'm still using miui dev rom, my phone lags alot with crappy SOT but the rest is history now since I flash miuipro
