Even from so called techies.

People get lots to learn o.
comparable in terms of performance and updates(though this is subjective) but redmi note 7 is better in every other thing like battery life,screen,design,camera.but the comparison's are kind of unfair though coz the x5 is from mid last year it will be better to see what nokia launches this year as the successor to x5 and x6 b4 the full round of comparisons kick off

In every aspect, to me, the RN7 benches the X5.

Since I started using it two days ago, I've seen two movies with it, the experience is immersive.

About unlocking the bootloader on Xiaomi devices, is there another way to do it that doesn't involve using a PC?
Are you allergic to pc?

Sorry o. Na joke I dey.

You actually have to use a PC since you will have to flash or load custom recovery.

Even if it's rom you are installing, you still have to use a pc.

Nope. We ain't talking about price here though. We talking about performance because some ITK techies on one thread like decided to compare X5 and RN7.

Oh, yeah what the guy said is true. X5 has nothing on redmi Note 7 but it is priced lower so that should help make the decision seemless.

I actually started the argument.
I asked for the comparison between Nokia x5 and redmi 7 but some of the replies were saying redmi note 7. The price difference between Rn7 and nx5 is a little wide so comparison between the two would be unfair.
Back to the two phones in contention ie Nokia x5 and redmi 7, the prices are very close and likwise the specs. The nx5 beats the r7 only in the fact that it has a gyro and would play some games better, it also has USB type c.
On the other hand, the redmi 7 has ir blaster (could be used as a remote), bigger screen, bigger battery and fast charging.
These are my opinions, not that I have used any of them o

I am asking cos if they are not considering pricing then it's like comparing apples to oranges.

They need to be in the class to be comparable.
