If you said you use Glo 4G on RN5 that means band 3 is present in your area and there is band 3 on the RN8. It is the more available Band 28 that the RN8T has that is not on RN8.

Other options like Mi A3, Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro as well as RN8 PRO

A friend brought redmi note 8 pro for me from china. But the problem is that is the China ROM. I can't see any Google services like Gmail, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and co. All I see is qq. Baidu, 163.com and all the writing and Apps are Chinese. Even the whatapp I saw is whatapp plus.
Please how can I convert it to global rom, because I can't use it like that. Any suggestions and way forward how to change it will be appreciated Pls. Fibonacci2526 jboixxx embrace and co

redmi 8a is definition of budget king for it price is a good piece have been using it for like 2 months so far no issues

You might have to root the phone then, starting with :
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Install twrp or any other compatible custom recovery
3. Install any English ROM you want

its great device but not that flashy camera if its for a lady
