Nellsworld: OK great. The reason for the statement you made is the soc?.... And when you talk of exynos, if I'm not mistaken its just a50/51 that uses it. A70/71 has a smoother and faster soc probably even better than then g90t(I can't say for sure because I've not really read on that) If soc is your basics for comparison then ill let you know while Samsung decided to cut price with their exynos, xiaomi decided to cut price with the IPS lcd. You will give up amoled & better design for soc doesn't mean the next man is ready to give that up... Truly I don't know why people have decided to make soc the order of hierarchy when it comes to phones but to me other things matter and soc matters too 1 Like |

festwiz: What's happening?, $1100?, have xiaomi joined? .. Oh probably the entry level and midrange won't be affected.. Let's see what the pricing of the redmi note 9s will be like 2 Likes |

Crixxx:I know, but soc really matter in a phone, let me use the Galaxy note 10 sd and galaxy note 10 exynos, the exynos is so slow and drains battery, some games that normally should be grt on sd will start to lag on exynos, currently, there is a petition going on globally for samsung to stop producing the exynos and putting it in their flagship phone and sell it in d same amount with snapdragon soc. When u start using the Samsung flagship phones, you will understand the importance of soc, by the way gcam don't work excellently on exynos soc on S series and note series 7 Likes |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Crixxx: 8:27am On Mar 28, 2020 |
Nellsworld: Yh I know... But the exynos is able to carry out day to day activities right?.. Your only problem is that it can't handle some games. That's exactly what I'm saying everyone has preference and not every one is a gamer.. Now you say it drains battery in as much as soc is the chief in this department it also depends on your usage same way my friend's redmi note 8 drains fast under heavy usage despite having a snapdragon under the hood. Another friend of mine plays cod with his a20 and its lag free .. Me my self don't really like the exynos, but the soc is OK and may not be best for you if you are in to stretch your device.. I'm about to get a 2nd phone(midrange) but I'm in a turmoil and I don't know which to go for because I prefer oleds to ips(the screen backlight drains a lot of battery), i like good soc because this infact is in charge of a mobile, I really look out for design(this gives me joy and makes me hungry to touch and operate a device) and I like compact phones(which is very hard to find in this era even iPhone is veering to follow the trend). |

In fact he started saying it even before the launch of the Mi 9 series. And he surprised us and priced it low. Now people are currently complaining... genius43: 5 Likes |

Maybe they goofed maybe they didn't. Even OnePlus is not a flagship killer anymore and their prices have risen over the years... Xiaomi's pricing in Europe has always been higher than some other parts... People who will buy will buy, people who wouldn't... wouldn't. Obviously that can't be the price in China and India and some other parts... Besides it will be on AliExpress so our able touts can bring it down for us that is if they never release it in 9ja. By the way, there will be a price drop soon enough... By December you can get it for between 30 to 40% off... The other day I saw the Mi 9 64gb sold at 76k brand new and the 128gb sold at 90k. That is a phone that cost two times that price last year... busuyi44: 2 Likes |

Olamyyde: By AI player, do you mean fellow online player? Cos if na the normal computer you dey talk about, I find this talk laughable o. Except you don't know how to play the game. Passing dey very accurate for PES 2020. If you no balance and you pass ball, even for real life, e no go pass well. I no dey even press tackle when I dey mark, I dey fear yellow or red card. Just pressure is enough, without direction. I have gone 10 campaigns without losing any game. I dey beat computer silly. The gameplay is very realistic IMO. Na just absence of manager mode, real league competitions and others like that I want them to improve on. and it will be perfect. From the first day I downloaded the game, na superstar difficulty I start to play. Playing any other difficulty felt like say I dey play dream league 1 Like |

ityP:AI na artificial intelligence(computer). Passing isn't accurate baba. I can't even count the number of misplaced passes I've had in the game. Pes 2018 never had such. Abeg reach campaign level 40 and repeat what u just said. Dream league? U dey beat computer 5-0 like 12 times in a row on superstar difficulty? I've been a fan since 2018, and that's probably the best football mobile game I've ever played. |

Nellsworld:True, but most devices are splash resistant to some degree. The recent JerryRigEverything video on the Mi Note 10 Teardown shows a lot of protection to prevent water from getting into the device despite it not having an IP rating. However, spending $800+ on a device is not a joke and most people can't spend that quite as easily as it may seem. I guess that extra guarantee is needed. Personally, I don't use my phone in wet situations. It's like default. I guess it's not the same for everyone. 4 Likes |

Olamyyde: If PES2020 Mobile have anything more than superstar, I'll beat them black and blue. Ask @atheistandproud. I'm on level 95 now. Na because he don too easy na wetin make me uninstall am be that. If Konami can just do what ityP suggested, it would have been perfect. 2 Likes 1 Share |
