You can't except you've been syncing your files to either Mi Cloud, Google Drive or any other cloud storage option.

To all: if you have important files on your phone, always back them up to your PC, OTG/flash drive or cloud storage to avoid this kinda scenario.

AeSS might take awhile but if you can afford DHL and possible NCS charge, use DHL.

If all highlighted proved abortive, try factory reset.

What ROM are you on? A friend had similar issue on EU ROM until MI ROM was flashed on it.
