Charged my phone to hundred percent at 11pm yesterday. Put it on airplane mode and switched it off.
5.50 am this morning here's what I got
Battery drained to zero percent
Date gone back to march 2020.
See attached. Note all updates are current.
Battery health 83%

And please no one should ask me pedestrian questions... All apps up to date

It may be helpful to know which phone it is and what has happened with it in the recent past.
A 2 month old phone that has been fine up till now wouldn't be regarded the same as a 16 month old phone that has been having similar issues.

Hope those are not pedestrian questions

This is the first time I'd be using a Xiaomi device(Redmi 3 Pro). It's cool and kind of odd when people ask you the kind of phone you Use and you say Xiaomi (most people do not know jack about it).
I just want we using this device regardless the model to meet here and share tips on how to get the best out of it eg. Rooting, unlocking, flashing, Upgrading, etc.
Please lets make this work and Shout out to @elijahdre for getting me this wonderful device.

I was missing a lot in mobile, till I got my Rn7 last year,

Remember folks, don't reply trolls. They might quote you, they might insult you, or they might even lie against you - the reaction should always be the same, ignore.

What's the name of the phone?
Can you drain the battery and fully charge and see how it goes?
Which kinda charger do you use?

So the thread is back. *Sighs*

It would have gone down as the greatest terrorist act in the history of Nairaland if the thread wasn't restored.

A thread of over 7000 pages!

You don't delete a 7000-page thread with over 4 years of valuable info just because of misbehaviour from some individuals.
That is like throwing out the baby with the bath water.

You don't do that!

Abeg my people, who wan chop groundnut? Bring your cup make I give you small

I am just looking at the mods like "Wetin you gain now?"

Hello guys. Does anyone know any case that I can use to protect the camera bump of my RN8 pro. I know the kind of friends I have, I'm scared of them dropping it on any surface because it's prone to scratches

There's still a paucity of information and I hope there's no important bit that's been left you.
Anyway, if you follow what you've already been told about battery replacement your phone should be okay.

Nah! I won't follow that. Unless I get assurance. But certainly I have confirmed that there's something consuming power on the phone rapidly.... From users on miui 11 globally.

You have to order for the first two but look around the thread store to see who have cases.

Noobody, Macbeyland, Gidieberry, anonymously etc.

This comment from you confirmed my suspicion of your kinda person.

It is better to be stubborn and intelligent at the same time. Or you just choose to be intelligent insteada displaying stubbornness without vector.

How can you say that you confirmed from a troll when those that are genuine are trying hard to help you get your phone to work again?
