Go to settings - additional settings - developer option -simulate colour space - select disabled

I have done that but still the same, no changes and I don't want to reset the phone

Go to the app info by long-clicking the app window in the multitasking screen (or however you get there).

Go to “data” then turn off background data

guys, how do I edit apps from being a default app. Mi browser has hijacked all functions on my phone. Even to the extent that it want to be opening PDF files for me. Sites I supposed use chrome to open na mi browser dey do am

Ok, then go to settings - additional settings - accessibility - color correction, turn it off if it's on.

For full screen gesture only options are double tap to lock and wake and also creating a widget for lock screen.

Someone should please teach me coz I'm new to updating.

Some people also talk about firstly downloading ROM. What's d meaning and where can I download it? Someone should please teach me step by step

Go to settings, app, manage apps, then click the hamburger menu at the uppermost right hand corner and select default apps.

Change your browser to chrome.

I noticed that too a few months back I'll be updating chrome another 30 something mb chrome will update first before the actual chrome will update I've noticed that on more than 3 occasions..

Remove spaces from the link after copying

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process
