You can leave Nokia idle for 24hrs with 4% battery, when you come back you will still be left with 4%


But my Xiaomi Note10s if you leave it idle for 24hrs with 100% battery, if you come back you will be left with 73% battery (with no data turned On)

Please can you sell ur Redmi Note 10s to me, I so much love phones that drain 37% in 24hrs.

But my Xiaomi Note 10s of 1Month drains when idle..

Don't mind them, they are Xiaomi worshippers. They will defend Xiaomi till they die even when presented with unrefutable evidences.

The first hot1 that I used, even when the battery was swollen and almost dead, it won't drop until I touch it. Same thing with the last one I used (hot 5), after almost 3yrs of usage with noticeable deterioration, the battery doesn't drop when idle.

Interms of battery performance, I think I will have to give it to infinix. Their battery optimization is top notch.

Also have you reverted to default theme to see if it persists?

I just checked a friends Note 9s today.

Turns out animations are gone on his phone as well. He hasn't updated to 12.5 though.

You obviously don't know anything about smartphones or just aren't current.

Except Samsung and Pixel, all the brands you mentioned up there are dead compared to Xiaomi. Only Huawei can still hold their ground a bit.

FYI, Xiaomi is currently the No. 1 smartphone brand in the world in terms of sales.

No company that chuns out inferior products can achieve that.


Every smartphone company has one ish or the other that troubles their user.

So stop saying Xiaomi is only a tad above Transsion products because they're not even in the same league.

It's quite funny seeing them say Xiaomi products are slightly above Transsion, the gap is so so wide.
I remember my days of using their products, I had a new phone die on me in under 2 months when I got to carlcare I saw crowd of people complaining of different problems. I couldn't even wait to get to my turn to be attended to. My point is Xiaomi don't have that level of customer support so all their phones complains are usually online whereas for Transsion they have where they pack themselves to go and complain and repair.

If you feel it is from your ROM, download full ROM Manually and install.

Download with a Download manager like 1dm+ Pro google search for it

After downloading.

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

I did not have to do anything. My google Play service has been ok b4 and after the update.
