Well I'm in a version lower than that, in fact the stock ROM, but I haven't had any issues using the phone, I think it should be almost 3 years of usage now for me..

Try changing the battery, if that doesn't work, dry letting the batter drain, or force restarting it while putting it in charge...

It doesn't get stuck. It just shows the Redmi and goes off. If it gets stuck, would have let the battery drain. Does same when plugged. Just switch on to show it's plugged and still go off and on like that

I used Aliexpress to generalize for E-commerce sites that are not 'in' Nigeria. We all know Aliexpress, Amazon, Ebay, Lazada etc. are all E-commerce sites. In fact, I don't have even have Aliexpress' on my phone
I just needed sites or links of stores within Nigeria where I can find one. Although the one on Jumia is 5G, it clearly states that it's Indian version. The one on Konga is 4G

my RN 8 just developed issue. the gyroscope and compass are not working. Don't know where to get it resolved self, don't see myself walking into computer village Ikeja without knowing anyone there(having lasted for 3yrs, it has tried).

If you're not updating to the RN12 Pro+ then you're right. There is really no need.

Even people with RN10 Pro and if I should stretch it, RN9 pro shouldn't even update. The gains are too minimal.
