If PMB is serious about fighting corruption, he should remove Fuel Subsidy and deregulate the oil sector. The oil merchants (both PDP and APC) in the coming days will try to incite the masses against PMP. But we are wiser now. Subsidy regime only benefits these corupted oil magnates. 5 Likes |

After buying petrol at 220 naira per litre 120 naira per litre will not kill me, if that will totally remove subsidy totally and make petrol to be available so be it. 2 Likes |

An unpopular policy.. But what is far worse is the deliberate attempt by the government to 'hoodwink' the populace on it. There's little worse than a dishonest and dishonorable government.. Wonder what will happen to fuel which is already being sold@ 130/L even at NNPC stations here down south. It is well.. 1 Like |

I know lotta Nigerians would have forgotten APC stood against Jonathan's plan to remove fuel subsidy in 2012. we have short memory, that's why we never learn. price of products on a high side, many civil servants, esp local govt workers in some states have not received salary for more than 5months, yet all d govt could think of is to task citizens. that's BTW, my problem with APC is making empty promises all to win election and my problem with Nigerians is believing every promises, even d unachievable ones. 7 Likes 2 Shares |
