The Academic staff union of universities has dismissed the federal govt's threat to implement starvation policy known as no-work-no-pay,on the striking university teachers describing it as illegal and violates the rule of law.ASUU claimed that the industrial arbitration court has cautioned against the implementation of such policy and the supreme court has also ruled on same during its verdict on unilorin 49 lecturers.If the policy does work,will ASUU be forced to go back to work?.
