Let America prosper and flourish in prosperity, let the enemies of United States be frustrated, let their be revival in United States, let God reign in United States and subdue the darkness and satanism.

Lord deliver Nigeria from the politicians, set us free from evil leaders, OH Lord arise against the wicked men that call themselves politicians in this nation. Deliver us from their yokes?

These were part of my prayer points in my personal vigil overnight. America needs prayer against natural disasters but the only natural disaster Nigeria has are the evil leaders. Our economy supposed to be one of the best in the world but because of the evil politicians which Satan has arranged against this nation since the colonial era till now, this country has suffered different blows and that is why a man can have the gut to say a whole state is in his pocket, and he is not lying about it because whatever he does cannot be questioned, isn't that a god? There was a time it was revealed that one of them claimed that he dug a water bore hole for 250 million naira and we did our own bore hole in our house with less than 250 thousand naira. None of these people has been questioned, they still walk freely and they are enjoying another political office. Something far from that happened in United States to a formal governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich who was sentenced to 14 years in prison for corruption, if it happened in Nigeria, he would've gone from governorship after his tenure to become a minister.

What corruption are we fighting when we are actually manufacturing it.

The reason people are killing to get into political position in Nigeria is because the office holders can easily embezzle money without any problem apart from the millions that is being given to them legally since corrupt people like them assigned the payment from the on set.

What are the political activists waiting for? Are they also corrupt? Are we going to continue like this and survive? Though corruption thrived successfully under Goodluck Jonathan administration but what are we seeing now, those who are supposed to be detained are being celebrated.

When these politicians were canvassing for our votes, they said they were ready to serve, they did not complete the statement that they were ready to serve their pocket. They got into power and declared that they can't allow any cut in their pay despite the fact that the president thought it wise to cut down the outrageous money assigned for his office.

As regards the senators, they were to be given millions of naira for cars, I was told each car will cost 35.1 million naira. Nigeria is facing the highest level of inflation at present and these wicked politicians are smiling in their exotic cars. People are finding it hard to eat twice daily yet those who claimed to be public servants in politics are wasting the little resources we have left.

Nigeria economy needs great sacrifice from all of us in order to survive, but these people are not willing to do us any good. They will collect heavy money just to sit down to make decisions. Professors that are much more knowledgeable than them are crying for their little salary to be paid, while many that only know how to embezzle money will be there to determine what happens to the knowledgeable ones.

I was surprised to see Nigeria Labour Congress asked for 56,000 minimum wage. According to analysis, that means a Nigerian who is working hard will work throughout is entire life to make nothing close to what a senator will make in a month. Look at the figures below:

Senator's Pay world wide
* Sri Lanka – $5,100.00
* India – $11,200.00
* Malaysia – $25,300.00
* Thailand – $43,800.00
* Spain – $43,900.00
* Ghana – $46,500.00
* Saudi Arabia – $64,000.00
* Indonesia – $65,800.00
* Kenya – $74,500.00
* France – $85,900.00
* Sweden – $99 300.00
* South Africa – $104,000.00
* Britain – $105,400.00
* New Zealand – $112,500.00
* Israel – $114,800.00
* Germany – $119,500.00
* Ireland – $120,400.00
* Hong Kong – $130,700.00
* Japan – $149,700.00
* Canada – $154 000.00
* Singapore – $154,000.00
* Brazil – $157,600.00
* United States – $174,000.00
* Italy – $182,000.00
*Nigeria - $2,183,685.00
The details of the remuneration of an
average Nigerian Senator is detailed below;
* Basic Salary (B.S) – N2,484,245.50
* Hardship Allowance (50% of B.S) –
N1,242,122.70
* Constituency Allowance (200% of B.S) –
N4,968,509.00
* Newspapers Allowance (50% of B.S) –
N1,242,122.70
* Wardrobe Allowance (25% of B.S) – N621,061.37
* Recess Allowance (10% of B.S) – N248,424.55
* Accommodation (200% of B.S) – N4,968,509.00
* Utilities (30% of B.S) – N828,081.83
* Domestic Staff (70% of B.S) – N1,863,184.12
* Entertainment (30% of B.S) – N828,081.83
* Personal Assistants (25% of B.S) – N621,061.12
* Vehicle Maintenance Allowance (75% of B.S) –
N1,863,184.12
* Leave Allowance (10% of B.S) – N248,424.55
* Severance Gratuity (300% of B.S) –
N7,452,736.50
* Car Allowance (400% of B.S) – N9,936,982.00
* TOTAL MONTHLY SALARY = N29,479,749.00
($181,974.00)
* TOTAL YEARLY SALARY = N29,479,749.00 x 12 =
N353,756,988.00
The average salary of Nigerian worker based on
the national minimum wage is N18,000.00, So,
the yearly salary is N18,000.00 x 12 =
N216,000.00
Remember, Yearly Salary of Nigerian Senator =
N353,756,988.00
Proportion: N353,756,988.00/N216,000.00 = 1,638
It will take an average Nigerian worker 1,638
years to earn the yearly salary of a Nigerian
Senator.

Now with the above figures, at 56,000 an average Nigerian worker will work for more than 500 years to earn what a senator earns in a year.

Since these politicians are being given outrageous money despite the level of poverty in Nigeria, it shows they do not care about our well being, why should they remain in positions. There are better brains than theirs in this country that can do exceedingly well in those positions to help this country at no cost.

I am really surprised that NLC has done nothing till now, they have power but they refused to use it until now. Why are you demanding 56,000 with the current rate of things and the "I don't care attitude" of these politicians. Why not demand for something outrageous like theirs?

Why not demand for 500,000 naira minimum wage and tell the government you won't cut it down by any percent different from thesame percentage that must be used to cut down net income of all political offices. To me this is what make sense, not 56,000 naira. If they refuse which I know they will, then let us embark on a strike till the whole world see the reasons for our cry.

If the politicians income can be cut down to ten percent, we will have less people killing themselves over politics, and let the immunity be lifted off, let those that are involved in known corruption be sentenced to prisons and all their properties home and abroad be given to the government. People will sit up, and this nation can be great and shall be great by God's grace. God bless Nigeria.
