Let's Assume Buhari Stepdown For Any Of These Men. Would Pdp Have Any Chance? by A7(m): 9:58pm On May 10, 2016 |
There is a thread currently featured on the homepage with the caption: Who within the Pdp has the best chances of winning the Apc in 2019? Opinion poll. Most of the comments/opinions on that thread revolves around two things: 1. Pdp have been torpedoed, and the elephant is no match for a frog. 2. Clinching the Apc presidential ticket against Buhari is almost impervious. Couple of months ago Pdp is still boasting that it will rule for 50 years and the man Buhari have been contesting and not scaling through for more than a decade. So, what happen? what change? What led to Apc having the upper hand and Pdp enervating to extinction? My personal opinion is "Buhari". But this thread is not about celebrating the man, 1 out of 5 threads in this section is centered around him and even if you don't like him you'll know why most people here believe in him. The focus of this thread is however, what if Buhari chooses not to contest in the 2019 polls, would the Pdp have any chance against any of the following Apc stalwarts? 1. Minister Babatunde Raji Fashola 2. Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso 3. Governor Nasir El-rufa'i With or without endorsement from President Muhammadu Buhari. |

rottennaija: They're preparing for a convention this month, a governor brag they will kick Apc out of aso rock by 2019, another one even said Pdp will sweep all states. But how they intend to do that is ridiculous, their plan is to stage a comeback via de-marketing Apc. How pitiful. But most Pdp loyalists here cringes by mere mentioning of 2019 elections, and what scares a chunk of them is the cult-like followership Buhari got. Since the Buhari factor is the reason for their cowardice of not being able to mention even one credible technocrat that will match Buhari's popularity in the next polls, let's remove Buhari out of the equation to see if they can prove indeed Buhari is their only/biggest hurdle. 2 Likes |

donphilopus: Maybe the dude loves the word "dumb" so much to the extent of using it for the heck of it and also forcing it to be part of him. |
