RIP to d dead wife, but d police shud also pick up d woman boss she lodged wit in Abuja for 4days,ova jealousy is d worst tin dat can happen to any relationship or marriage, if u re still dating him or her n he/she is d excessively jealous type, pls run,for d ladies,if he is d type dat slaps u wen u re just still dating, pls leave him, stop having d mentality dat he usually beg me n feel sori weneva he slaps me n he will stop it wen we get married,a guy who slaps u wen still dating u will definitely abuse u if u get married to him

A man was having an argument with his wife. Wife is known to be extremely aggressive and violent. Wife holds man by shirt collar, squeezing and screaming. In a bid to escape the situation, man struggles with wife to leave his shirt alone......a little push and she fell...her head a hard surface and died.

Did he intend to kill her or was it an accident? Was he wrong in trying to escape her aggression? Should he have avoided to free himself from her stranglehold?

PS: I'm not saying this was what happened but what if?
Bro, take this guy's case already in court and argue for manslaughter, judges look for intent anyway, he didn't intend to kill her.

The basic element of a crime especialy murder is ''actus reus'' (physical action)which in this case is the slight pushing and ''mens rea'' (guilty mind or intention) if there is no intention the act is nt guilty the man cant be held liable because he did nt intent to kill d woman (no mens rea)

Sad sad sad. Easy job for the police though. The kids are there, they are witnesses. The police should also pick her phone and get her call log frm her network provider. Her so called Boss shd also be invited,to tell his own part of the "abuja trip". If he tells lies, the conversation from the call log will expose him.An autopsy shd also be conducted on d body,to identify marks,if any of physical abuse, then any signs of poisoning,to determine if it was a case of suicide after she couldn't stand d fact that her husband sneaked in on her, telling her dirtiest secrets on phone. A secret she and 99.97 percent of cheating married women would rather take to the grave. I always knew d story had a second side. The only side we can't get is d dead lady's side,so we need to dig deeper to get d truth. U read an incomplete story and feminist groups have already tagged it domestic violence, without waiting for the full gist. D man has a great task to clear his name,if not,he is in deep trouble. Finally,If u gonna cheat as a married woman, pls ask for a divorce first. Don't always feel because u are financially independent,u can cheat, throw it in your husbands face and use divorce as an escape route. Its better u divorce b4 u cheat, because not all men are mentally OK. As for d man,if he is convicted of murder,he has to pay for it.He cannot go scott free. who suffers the most, the innocent kids. People shd watch the effect of their actions and reactions b4 they do wat they do. My take.

Re: Lekan Shonde: I Didnt Kill Ronke, My Wife, God Is My Witness by Marley01(m): 9:18am On May 11, 2016
Please instead of this long story, why is an autopsy not carried on the corpse to ascertain the cause of the woman's death? From there, serious and more context investigations can commence. This man just needs a good lawyer if he didn't actually do it. Is he guilty because he absconded? It might have been just a slap, but the state of mind as at when the slap was dished is the issue. He must have slapped her into oblivion..I think.
Life is not so easy, but few people want to get everything at all cost. Now, nobody talks about her illicit affairs but who killed her. This wouldn't have happened if she was a bit faithful. God rest her soul!
Mistake made, lesson learnt! A lesson for everyone alive today..Be patient.

Look at how happy they all seemed to be. God forgive me for envying folks by merely seeing their fronts wtout knowing the death behind them.
I dnt condone adultery, but even if the woman commited adultery or even murder, the hubby shouldnt have beaten her to the point of death. He would have just divorced her as the bible commanded.
Besides from life experiences, men always accuse their wives of sleeping around in other to blacklist them. Even Tbilz used the adultery card. Its so wrong, esp as the woman can no longer defend herself.
For the mans family to avoid him, it gives an insight into the current situation.
I feel most for the children, to loose both parents cry cry
Men and women pls learn from this couple and handle anger issues. Its such a pity esp as the dead woman is still mourning her late brother, the family should still look inside to know where all these death is comin frm.

Autopsy should reveal if it was as a result of the obvious beating or internal injury from her destroyed privates. If the telecom company can relay the discussion she was having on the phone, and it confirms the husband's story, then the man should explore pleading that he was extremely provoked and see how far that plea can take him. See what anger and violence can cause.

Lekan Shonde recounts final moment with his late wife
My first contact with Lekan Shonde was in the office of the Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), ACP Tunji Disu. He was already seated with his friends. As I walked in, silence fell on everyone. I exchanged pleasantries and I saw a guy, who was looking tired and worn out. It was obvious his world has crashed on his head.

He was shaking his head intermittently. His words were not too audible, but he kept on saying “I didn’t kill her, I didn’t kill. ” In order to get the best out of him, I needed to get closer. He was now an orphan overnight, a leper no one wanted to touch.

Even his siblings had all deserted him. In my presence, he called his younger brother to come over, but the young man gave one excuse or another on why he couldn’t make it even with assurances from those of us there.

The first question I asked him was ”Lekan, say the truth, did you kill your wife?” He looked me straight in the eyes, head bent and with a low voice that has seen so much anguish in the past few days and said an emphatic “No. I did not kill her, God is my witness.” I didn’t know whether to believe him or not.

He continued: “Before that day, we had been having issues. Since my wife lost her former job (as a banker), I had been the one taking care of all her needs, including the upkeep of our two children. On the day in question, we had some issues.”

He was interjected to explain what the issues were. “I noticed some months back that my wife suddenly changed after she started working for a packaging company in Lagos. She suddenly came home very late. She went to work from Monday to Sunday and hardly prepared food for me and the kids.

“Even with her job, I still took care of her. I have two cars parked in the house, I don’t drive, she was the one who drove the two cars. All my finances were under her care. Even my ATM cards were with her. She drew money from them as she liked. I have been doing my job as a responsible man but I don’t know why my wife suddenly changed.

“Before that day, my wife told me that she was travelling to Abuja on a business trip on behalf of her company and that she would be off for four days. I allowed her. She left me with the two children, agedix and four. I had to combine my job with that of taking care of them.

“A day to her return, a friend called to ask me if I was aware that my wife travelled to Abuja with her boss (name withheld) and they lodged in the same room. I was shocked because my wife never told me she was travelling with him, talkless of sharing room with him for four days. I kept my cool, but was highly worried.

“On her return, I came back earlier than usual, opened the door with my spare key, walked into the house unannounced and overheard her speaking on the phone, ranting away: ’I really enjoyed all our love-making, my whole private part is now paining me from all your bangings, I can’t wait for us to have a repeat of the action, you are the best, my love.’

“While she was saying all that, I walked into the room and she was shocked. I was speechless. She knelt down and started begging me.”

Did you beat her? I interjected again. “No, I didn’t beat her.” He was staring at the floor as he answered me. “Nothing happened, I just stroke my hands around her face (probably slapped her). I left her at that.

“In the morning, I dressed up to go to work. I normally leave for work at about 5:00a.m. daily since I work in Apapa. When I came out, I saw her lying on the couch. I felt she was sleeping and didn’t bother to wake her up. I went away with my key and asked our son to padlock the door from inside.

“It was while I was at work that the nanny called me that they had been trying to ask my wife to open the door but without any response. I asked them to break the door open if she was not responding.

“I was on my way home when I called for update and was told there were police everywhere. Based on this, I was scared. I had to stay away from the house and scene since then.”

She died as a result of Guilty Conscience and the pains she said she was feeling in her Vagina from the Abuja Lamba.

An autopsy is very, very needed to unravel what killed Ronke; it might be too early to rule out hypertension (the silent deadly killer) or just natural expiration of life ( A Doctor friend told me, once, that some people can just pass away suddenly, maybe due to the fact that they have a God given short life span).

The Police need to read the transcript of the chat with her boss and her husband 3 days to the time she died. It could reveal a lot! It could also expose lies.
THEN THEY SHD ASK THE BOY THAT CLOSED THE GATE TO CONFIRM WHAT THE FATHER SAID.THE OGA THAT bleeped THE WIFE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED TOO.ACCIDENTS HAPPEN.

A Guiltless Man would not be afraid to go home when he heard his wife was unresponsive.

He would have ordered that she be taken to hospital and he would have rushed there himself.

This Nigga is Guilty..

[size=13pt]so who should we believe now! The wife is dead and u can't ask her anything. The story is a bit complicated thou.
So what the man is trying to tell us is that when his wife was sleeping, he didnt hook her neck or prevented her from breathing in one way or the other? no matter what the man say's, they won't release him...naija police is too difficult to handle.

May God not allow us we unmarried to marry a cheating wife ijn...coz my own na gun I go use shoot .
