– President Buhari has personally replied to British PM Cameron comments on Nigeria – Buhari calls corruption a “hydra-headed monster” and advises any country that thinks it’s safe from corruption to wake up President Muhammadu Buhari gives the keynote address at the anti-corruption conference in London on May 11, Wednesday. He has described corruption as a “hydra-headed monster” and said Nigeria is committed to sign the Open Government Partnership. While being asked about David Cameron, British Prime Minister, comments that Nigeria is fantastically corrupt he says: “I’m not going to demand an apology from anyone, what I’ll demand is a return of assets.” The president said: “By the end of our summit tomorrow, we should be able to agree on rules-based architecture to combat corruption. Corruption does not differentiate between developed and developing countries. It is a serious threat to good governance, peace and security. I call for establishment of an anti-corruption infrastructure that will trace and return stolen assets to their countries of origin. “Unfortunately, repatriating stolen assets is tedious, time- consuming, costly. It entails more than just signing of bilateral agreements. “The anti-corruption agencies have been revitalized to tackle the monster… A radical departure from the past. Our administration has zero tolerance for corruption…We have strong reserve to tackle it, even if many feathers would be ruffled.” Global leaders from civil society, business and government who are championing the fight against corruption gathered for a major conference. The leaders are set out their commitments to end impunity, prevent corruption, empower victims and support activists, in an effort to bolster good governance and transparency and support sustainable development. https://www.naij.com/826334-breaking-president-buhari-hits-cameron-back-calls-corruption-monster-pics.html?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_group=free

Those asking Buhari not to attend the conference are ignorant. He should give Cameron, the Queen's jester a serious tongue lashing when he is giving the speech 1 Like |

Those stolen loots are now being enjoyed by the countries who the loot was hidden by our past political leaders. Its a wake up call to all that your loots abroad are not safe. They will gladly allow you to build their economy with the loot, but you won't own it at all because you will be branded a criminal and money launderer. BE WISE ALL YE BLACK FOOLISH POLITICIANS!!! 1 Like 1 Share |
