Following David Cameron’s comment that Nigeria is “fantastically corrupt”, President Buhari has responded that he doesn’t want an apology; he wants the UK to return assets he says were stolen from Nigeria. The remarks were made in Buhari’s keynote speech at a Commonwealth anti-corruption conference.
