I wrote Toefl(had 90), my UG GPA according to US ranking is 3.68/4.0. I think dz 2 things n God landed me d GA. I also submitted 4 LOR's instead of 3. |

What is your business with the school curriculum. All schools in America has well structured and standardized curriculum. So you would have personalize your intention not reading what reading what is on the school website slystanley: |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 9 by DareFadi(f): 11:40am On Jun 22, 2016 |
profx4real: It can cause red flags if your final destination is not your school , NOT if you are not landing directly If you are a legitimate student going to resume school , it would be expected that your itinerary should show ur final destination to be your school city .... If you are flying into another state first (no problem) and then connecting by local flight or bus then have your ticket or evidence with you . If you are visiting someone before you resume school then you should have a valid reason and explanation ......And also be ready to be asked to show evidence of a ticket after your short visit (blc school suppose resume max 30 days to ur arrival) . Think about it someone is entering america to school in Seattle but has only ticket to Newyork . That cant be right as those two cities are miles apart and doesn't make sense . Doesnt that mean the person has no intention of resuming school in Seattle ? .......hence the red bells start ringing and investigation starts Hope that very long explanation is detailed enough 2 Likes |

profx4real:I don't know how the rules work, but I don't think there is a problem with you flying to another state then transiting to your destination. I came in through Chicago and nothing was asked, my bag wasn't even checked. I didn't even know I've passed through checks till I asked the security guys. but mind you I already booked my flight to TN for the next day. Slept in Chicago and took off at noon. People who usually have this issue are B1/B2 visitors. If you don't have enough cash, fly to JFK and take the www.gotobus.com, it's cheap and super fast just like Agofure Motors. No useless stops like greyhound. What's your plan? When are you coming to ETSU, let me know so I can hook you up with some nice nairalanders over there. 1 Like |

slystanley:Your GRE and TOEFL is poor, you shouldn't have presented that low results. I wrote the GRE twice cos my first result was low and I had to retake it. It's pointless presenting such results. Secondly, yours reason for an MBA is watery and you don't sound like a genuine or smart student who has something to offer. Please don't take this personal. You dropped those two good schools for that low ranked school? This you have to give a cogent reason for the decision. This is what you should do, if you can secure another date come back and post your profile. CC some people here to help you review your interview transcript. Be open minded and act like a real student even if you're not. You have to be a smart ass for that 5 mins interview. |

Ekofisk:If it's a foreign account I don't think you need it. Your one page is ok. When my brother sent me his bank statement of 3months, it was about 19pages with some $5, 56c transactions. I told him not to bother. He went to the bank and got thesame thing you have. 1 Like |

DareFadi:I was only pointing out his flaws. If I had such result, I will trash it. Yes, he can do away with the result in his next interview. I'm saying for a fact out of several experiences. |

juliuslongman:Yes it's East Tennessee State University. You can visit the schools website and www.ets.org for price of the GRE and TOEFL. You need to get familiar with www.google.com. It would help you greatly and it's free. 2 Likes |

Christian129: Someone had an interview this week with one of the schools , so you can check with that person. If you like extremely cold weather then you are picking the right schools For more accurate information, best to go and check the ranking on google for the exact degree you are applying for |

Christian129: I am actually a female While the school ranking is vital for your plan post F1 visa days , for the purposes of student visa , it really down to how you sell yourself and how you present yourself to the VO as been a "Credible" student in less than 2 minute inteview. |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 9 by DareFadi(f): 3:40pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
bolaji92: lol.......WHo gave you such false information There a post in the past about passport validity on this thread . What you need is from the time you plan to enter the US or go for Visa interview you need at least 6months on your passport , mainly at the POE in the US Once you enter the US after your 20 (18 + 2) months or from 6months to actual expiration just look for the nearest Nigerian Embassy and renew your Nigerian Passport . There is one in washington DC, NewYork and Atlanta |

Hello House, I would like to hear your thought about Private Universities in the US. Does the US Embassy here in Nigeria recognises such universities, and approve visa for admitted students into the Graduate Program of such private university. Thanks |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 9 by DareFadi(f): 4:11pm On Jun 22, 2016 |
Governoryomi: You not only need to take both test , you must importantly have to study extremely hard and GET a high score. That is the only way to make up for a low GPA. |
