Please Help!!! by canadianprince: 3:56pm On May 15, 2016 |
Good afternoon my fellow nairalanders! I hope you had a wonderful Sunday service. I am currently in dilemma regarding my choice of career. And I believe information gotten from experienced people on this forum will go a long way in shaping my decision for the intended goal. I am in my early 20s and just finished my final year exams in B.sc Accounting. I'm currently awaiting service. I have been given the privilege to work in a CBO, and I am currently using the opportunity to build my capacity and acquire needed skills. Because of my educational background, I was assigned to the finance department, though I assist in the monitoring and evaluation (M & E) department as well. I realized I have a flair for the M & E job than I do for the finance job. I realized and found myself doing more of the monitoring and evaluation jobs than those of finance. I have a stronger zeal for the M& E job than the finance job. My dilemma is this; I do not have sufficient knowledge about the Monitoring and Evaluation Job to arrive at a conclusion. Aside other factors, my cause of concern is the security of the two jobs. I was made to believe that finance jobs are more secure. I don't know if I have been misinformed. But if the both share the same level of security status, I will always go the M & E job. Please useful inputs will be highly appreciated. Thanks. |
