Djangogirls Portharcourt is a one day programming workshop for women in Portharcourt. The workshop is for women who would like to learn how to build websites but don’t know where or how to start. It is aimed at total beginners “learners” and will accommodate only 40 women, teaching them how to build websites from scratch. As there are limited spaces, your application has to be stellar if you want to get in and it is free.

The workshop will take place on July 23, 2016 but will be preceded by a pre-installation party July 22. We are also willing to provide financial assistance for ladies who would like to attend but do not have the resources to do so. No one is too old or too young to attend.All you need is a laptop and the ability to speak English. Really, “You don’t need to know any technical stuff – the workshop is for people who are new to programming.” Then there’s free breakfast and lunch.

If you can try using a system, it would be easier. The date and venue of the workshop is on the website but you have to be registered to attend.
