The ultra luxury British manufacturer has announced the introduction of the Phantom Zenith, the 50 cars that mark the final year of production for the current generation Phantom.

First showcased just a few months ago, the Zenith series is now available from Rolls-Royce, the catch being that all 50 examples have been pre-ordered a long time ago. The Zenith line comes in coupe and drophead coupe body forms only, and mark the final year of production for the seventh generation Phantom model. Each unit of the Zenith series is bespoke since it has been manufactured to custom specifications from the owner, but also feature some factory upgrades that make them stand out among the series produced Phantoms. For example Zenith buyers will get a new glass shelf for the rear tailgate, a bigger champagne fridge – now with room for two bottles – and a unique version of Rolls-Royce’s picnic hamper.

The fascia’s surround uses a Best English Blacking finish –that’s a technique usually associated with fine gun-making – and inside the cabin there are uniquely numbered badges for the build position. Inside Rolls is also fitting a piece of metal from the soon-to-be decommissioned Phantom production line, with custom coordinates to signify where it was located in the carmaker’s Goodwood plant. The owners may also notice the brushed steel speedometer and lighter colored leather front seats compared to the ones in the back. The mesmerizing starlight headliner also features a unique pattern, illuminating the river and front passenger with more light than those in the rear. Not that it matters anymore, but the already sold out Phantom Zeniths were available for £338,616 and £358,488, for the coupé and drophead coupé, respectively.
