If the borrowed money is tied to a revenue generating project that can pay back the loan, fine by me but if it's those feel good projects no no no For me the whole of that loan should go into power plants building (say 80%) then the rest used to found business proposal of graduates with there certificate as collateral (the certificate would be given back to the schools that issued them) This is what we need to develop as a country We need 360 vocational training centres in this country teaching people skills and how to make money with this skills, we don't have jobs yet Indians are doing jobs we can do A 2 years vocational training in the most needed area like welding, road construction, structural construction, graphics design, printing machine operation, rig operation, snail farming, garri processing, fishing, industrial sowing etc This are what we need in this country 59 Likes 6 Shares |

Before you start shouting islamize please understand why Islamic bond is one of the best options when borrowing. It's interest free. You borrow 10 billion you pay back 10 billion. It's as simple as that. But I'm very sure some mumu people will still come here and shout islamize. Make i dey my corner dey observe them. I no talk am? See them shouting islamize. They'll never read and comprehend. Where were you when UK and Hong Kong issued sukuk. Oh sorry you were busy doing something stewwpid somewhere stewwpid. Must you wail at every opportunity you get? Incase you don't get it Islamic loans are interest free loans. So incase theirs an Islamic bank near you. And you are considering a loan for your business. You might wanna consider doing business with them. Because they won't put you through the agony other banks are putting you through. This one don even change from islamize to islamatise. Government should make available at least $5 billion dollars annually to fund small scale manufacturing businesses, thats a way to fight the huge trade deficit with China and enjoy the benefits of a devalued naira for the next few years 4 Likes |

Please what happens to the Trillions of Naira / Billions of USD recovered from the 'Evil PDP'? If truly we have recovered those looted fund in addition to Abacha 'Stolen money' or illegally taken away fund, we don't need any additional loan from either China, IMF or Islamic Republic of Iran or Islamic Development Bank in Jakarta. Except if the recovered loots has been re-looted. 11 Likes 5 Shares |
