We Are Not Shutting Down, Konga Denies Shut Down Rumors - by marketresearch: 8:11am On May 20, 2016
Nigeria’s ecommerce giant Konga.com this morning denied rumors that it planned to shut down its website for five days in order to test its mobile capabilities. In a statement made available to Innovation Village, the management of the online shopping website said the reports are ‘untrue’ as Konga never sent out any information concerning this neither will it be shutting down any of its platforms for testing purpose.

Konga added: “Konga shoppers can currently access Konga through the website, mobile web and the Konga app. These three platforms have been tested over time and are currently being used daily by customers for transactions and will always be available for customers to shop depending on their preference and convenience.

“Again, Konga is not shutting down its website or any of its platforms. Should there be any reason at any time to do this, a proper press statement will be sent to this effect.”

Good! I love Konga. They should review their policy on allowing individuals trade on their platform though. I've bought items there that turned out to be fake. I loved Konga because i could buy genuine products there. All that is starting to change.
