personally, i wont encourage my other half to become a member even though she read some pages i visit.  there is too much unnecessary abuse and childishness on NL that some people need shielding from especially non Nigerians.

Izeek, I dont think we both can keep a secret. It will be hard. Some of the NL knows him and his full name and he will use his real name as his ID because thats him. Its like me, I use my Real name as my ID name.

Amaka and GEW, thanks for your advice. We shall see on his side what does his thinks on this.

Ever since I joined NL, my bf has been reading all of my posts. And he is now inspired to even have an ID of his own over here and he says he wants to beat me at everything I do on NL.

I dont think think this is a good idea as I dont want in the end of the day we both will be focusing more on NL instead of ourselves so I told him about that and he said that I should post a thread and ask for you guy's opinion,

Yeap of course I did. I told him about Nairaland and if I could join it and he is like ok but dont get into any trouble. Thats what he first told me. And than he says that he wants to read my post if its possible and I said yes so since than it has been like that. But since now he wanted to join, he asked me. I dont even know why we always seek for each other's opinion. . . It has been a habbit I guess.
