There is a need for NLC to unite for future struggles.

Its because of your name im comenting on this post.
Since nigerians are divided on this strike, its us dat still loose. Its all win win for FG. Now FG know dat NLC will kick aginst d increase BUT atleast there will bé negotiation dat will eventually beat the price down to like N120 or N125, which FG have earmarked. Now because there is no negotiation so we have to buy at the new price of 145! So who loose? The populace of course! Otukpo Texas...

The people who insulted GEJ for the factionalisation of Governors' Forum are hailing as this admin has factionalised NLC.

Those who support the crushing of the opposition, Labour Unions and intimidation of the press will one day need these institutions.

Who will love my country, Nigeria? undecided
Please get your information right before making it public. NLC was factionalized under GEJ, even the NUJ was not left out. Remember OBJ reduced NLC power by carving TUC from NLC.

is GEJ a man of his words? if YES .. I say sorry for u .. if a President can named an institution to honour our hero and reversed his decision..just because of UNILAG students protest..but today those students were sleeping outside their hostel now and heaven did not fall.. ..GEJ Reversed almost all his good decision because he lack personal integrity/self control and courage.. definitely in prof. Wole Soyinka style "the man dead" he shot himself in d leg ... my take ( stand by ur decision to d fullest even when u are wrong and standing alone ) moral .... people will respect u

NLC didn't listen 2 Nigerians, if dey were actually fighting 4 our interest dey wudnt have embarked on such strike. I wud have expected dat wen dey got d fellas dat ppl were not willing, dey wud have given a press statement stating d need 4 d strike, but since we were not willing hence dey will no longer carry out d strike actn.
Afterall, what's d use if d ppl u're fighting 4 are saying NO!
Buhari's administratn is diff, with sincerity of purpose.

Am in support of it being called off. Him alone and the union members can't achieve it. Where are the Student Unions, Market women, Layers etc. None came out to protest. Even civil servants that this madness is affecting more. Went to work when the union said no be should go. My advice is let's all fasten our sit belt and ready to roll. Kudos sir. When Nigerians are ready we will know

Shame don catch this Wabba led NLC. Them say, "pride goes before a fall". Them warned am but still he insisted he will embark on the strike action and u don do wetin dey ur mind and what's the outcome now? How can you embark on such strike alone, forgetting u have another faction you were supposed to carry along and yet he was fighting the other faction instead to unite and collaborate with them, and forgetting that the other faction controls the critical sectors of the economy. And d fool did not even listen to TUC. Such a shame. I warned too, that the strike action will yield nothing, instead of fighting the govt over PMS price increase which the govt justified, he was supposed to be fighting for salary increment for workers in the country. He was fighting a lost battle with the govt anyway. Sai Buhari.
