insecurity in the middle belt is making transporting of tomatoes too dangerous to attempt. Middle belters are wise now plus herdsmen are killing everything moving. the Tinubu media wants you to believe otherwise but the fact that displacement camps are swelling in the country tells me the security situation is getting worst in the north. It's now no longer safe to far. crops are destroyed and people are killed. All of these farmers that buhari's brothers are butchering, is it not their produces that's being feed to these cows?

It's ndigbo that benefit for tomato imports so let them continue killing themselves.

Faulty logic else why is it also expensive in the North where it is grown?
Tinubu gives you guys nightmares, sorry!

Ofodirinwa:

This one has smelt an igbo name and is on the prowl.
What about Buhari? After all Audu is probably watching over 2-3 ministries as 1 man like Fashola, are you seeing success from the minster of darkness?

Zombies can only be objective when they see the names Kwachukwu and now Audu. lol. We see you in 3D
Re: Tomato Ebola Hits Six States – FG by riddler4real(m): 8:13am On May 25, 2016
This is a ploy to increase the cost of tomatoes. It is political motivated...... The Northen Elites have realised that there's much more potential in food crops than in oil. So they have decided to exploit every inch and maximise their gains.
Re: Tomato Ebola Hits Six States – FG by yousee(m): 8:14am On May 25, 2016
Oga Ogbeh its a lie. Words on the street say its dangote that has bought all the tomatoes in the states mentioned.

stop forming ignorance of the pest. The scarcity of tomatoes is largely as a result of dat. Why are other commodities not scarce like tomatoes?

Re: Tomato Ebola Hits Six States – FG by cele360: 8:57am On May 25, 2016
can't this govt think of building a tomatoe paste company and privatize it, must they wait for only Dangote to build and establish companies alone? what is even happening to this country? this people have no vision, build industries it will help limit unemployment in d country, not masquerade dancing, this govt should build industries like cement industries, where is our Royal toilet water cistern? our govt allowed it to die, and everybody is now importing Virony. all the industries are dead, how can there be jobs for d youth? no plan to develop industrial layouts they are all dead.

Audu Ogbeh looks very clueless in this Ministry of Agriculture. He looks very incompetent. How would he be saying the experts that would curtail the tomato Ebola virus are yet to commence work. That's insensitive of him.
Re: Tomato Ebola Hits Six States – FG by sweetgala(m): 9:24am On May 25, 2016
May I point out that this situation of a tomato pear outbreak is not just a coincidence but rather a calculated attack on the manufacture of tomato paste by importers of said product.
