Hi Ladies and Gents,

I need a help on how I can enable my yahoo messenger for browsing, any time I try sign in, it always refuse connection. I am using a proxy on my network.
Is it possible for the network provider to disable messenger?
I have tried all means I could even the connection preference a lot of times but the problem persisted.
I need you guys suggestions. or any of assessing yahoo chat without messenger

go to messenger, connection preferences, (depending on your version of yahoo messenger), then tick use proxies and put the proxy address you are using in your browser, and click ok.

if fixing the ip does not work on yahoo msger, tell ur buddy to be online, go to your mail box, you will see your friend who is online,a little chat bow will open for u at the end corner. u can chat from there. good luck
