The Nigerian state once again have decided to postpone their evil days , I hope they are aware that paying others off didn't work , why invite them for talks , to negotiate on what ?
Well, the only negotiation that will clearly portray the avengers as a group of serious minded Niger Deltans is to ask the Nigerian state to put the last national confab to use else they will continue to pay until the oil becomes useless and the ensuing anarchy would reach every region at a point. Just like kidnapping for ransom have come to stay.

I can only wish that we are not this selfish and greedy in this country . The Nigerian state maltreated the Niger Delta badly and her environment gone for good and here they are trying to pay their way out ? You can't pay your way out of a genuine concern until you do the right thing.
Avengers over to you unless the Nigerian state are the same people propping up the so-called avengers to ensure that IPOB and Niger Deltans have a different opinion on how to be liberated from the stranglehold of the illegal Nigerian State.

This is a struggle for JUSTICE LIBERTY FREEDOM. Words that don't mean much to the 'peace at any cost' 'we welcome our second class citizenship' Nigerians.

In 2016 no man or woman on this earth should be a slave to others. No one should be compelled to live in inhumane union because of fear of genocide.

Africa is one of the last places on this earth where people are still in bondage.

At the end of the day British colonialism of Nigeria was more humane than today's Hausa Fulani internal colonialism.

https://www.nairaland.com/3129540/nepotism-alert-update-buharis-lopsided

Even though the whites created Nigeria for the North's interest, there came a God-given opportunity in 1959 for Southerners to correct that but Some Southerners led by Zik and Ironsi willingly submitted themselves to Hausa-Fulani colonialism in the name of seeking "one Nigeria" and "national unity". That was the point at which the South's slavery under the North became iron cast and irreversible.

I don't really blame Northerners because at the earliest stage they made themselves clear that Nigeria would not work and that they were therefore not interested in forming a country with the largely Christian South. Unfortunately some hallucinating southerners kept on dreaming of "one Nigeria" and thus continued to make a case against the North's truthful and realistic position of Nigeria's non-workability. In the end the North was persuaded against her will to remain in Nigeria and they gave the condition that they be allowed to dominate if they must join Nigeria, and the leaders of the South accepted their condition. Agreement is agreement. The South has eaten her cake but wants to have it.

The Deadlytruth of the issue is that if not for laziness and skewed thinking on the part of Southerners the North would not have been anywhere near the South in terms of farming and food production as the South is generally more fertile than the North. But because of the miseducation which most Southerners call their being more educated than Northerners, the average Southerner has come to believe that without the North he will not get food to eat.
It is only in Nigeria that those who live in the fertile forest regions fear that those who live in the near desert region might punish them with starvation.

The common Nigerian man take himself for granted. It has never been about where you come from.

Given what has always been awarded to you and numerous projects (that are consciously frustrated), there is no reason why ND shouldn't be like SA or Abuja today. If the government give ND to you today, it still wouldn't progress. No one hates ND people, what we can't stand is the hypocrisy and the nagging. We hate it!

This won't be the first time innocents would die for the sin of one man, it is a Nigeria thing. What happened to the rich in ND, are they too scared to fight for what happened?

When avengers blow up pipes, what happens to the environment? Do they make it better or worse?

Why aren't you talking about the fact that these oil companies can more be sued outside Nigeria for the damage caused to your environment? Why aren't you taking about how your reps go to Abuja to forget about you? What is stopping you from paying attention to campaign promises and ensuring they are fulfilled? Jonathan, your own was there for more than four years and he couldn't do a thing about the common man. He would rather feed the big sharks and close his eyes to you. Common sense and visible facts are the back up here.
What is fertility? In general geography knowledge is there ever any Sudan Savana vegetation belt more fertile that a tropical rain forest belt?
If the North is more fertile than the South then why does the Northern fertile land refuse to yield grass for North's cattle hence the need to bring them to the South in search of pasture?

Oil will destroy that country.
For the over 50 years since oil was discovered, it has been a tale of woe ; greed, corruption, lawlessness and mass impoverishment.
While states like lagos, ogun and Oyo are showing what is possible if the government( FG,State AND LGA) digs dip, the rest are stuck in the mud of no movement.
It will take a miracle to get that country out of the rot.
I personally insist that oil should be treated as if it was there.
Maybe then, States and LGA will start taxing their citizens to provide services.
Maybe then, citizens will start demanding accountability

Very nice one.

Fact is that the generality of Nigerians feel the pains of the Niger Delta people. Unfortunately, the people of the zone has continued to put all their aggression across with tribalistic colouration. It's on record that Yaradua, a Northerner faced a stepped up agitation and yielded with the amnesty programme. Unfortunately, he died.
The creation of the NDDC, Ministry of Niger Delta and 13% derivation were all mismanaged by sons and daughters of the ND without any complaints from the Niger Deltans.
If not for political reasons, why has the NDA embarked on their destructive mission despite Buhari's clearly stated intent to develop the zone beginning with the cleaning of Ogoni waters and the Lagos - Calabar rail line.
Nobody would be happy with a friend who brags about all the assistance he rendered to his friend. The Niger Deltans brags about oil and call people of other zones parasites forgetting that the oil in their backyard is not by dint of hard work but by providence.
One clear thing is that even if they are granted 100% resource control with their present mentality, they'll continue to kill themselves over it just like the fight of children who destroy themselves over their father's inheritance.
The fact that the FG is seeking dialogue is not a sign of weakness but they are wise to realize they are dealing with spoil brats.
However, the Buhari administration should please not renew oil well licenses issued based on political patronage by previous governments. They should be issued in a more equitable and economically sound manner. .
