Emem Unwana gently and patiently feeds her aged and sick patient inside this nursing and assisted living home in Southern United States. Her patient is 91 years old. She is incontinent and in the last stages of living. Her family brought her to the nursing home five years ago. The family could no longer give their mother the care and support she deserves, the remainder of her life. She also has Alzheimer’s disease. http://punchng.com/myth-nigerians-washing-dead-bodies-us/ 16 Likes 4 Shares

DIFY20: Thank you. This same CNA is one of the prerequisites to become a Physician Assistant (PA) in the US. CNA, a stepping stone to become PA, a leadership position in healthcare team. They (PAs) got paid about $100,000+ yearly. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

I can even understand the illiterates that say that, it's their lack of education. The ones that I have a problem with are the Nigerians that live in America and are considering themselves as educated but who stoop to that level to score cheap points on Nairaland. Some brain dead asshat on here accused me of being a mortuary attendant Are mortuary attendants not human beings? And isn't it a mortuary attendant that will attend to all of them when they pass on? A mortuary attendant in the US makes an equivalent of N13,000,000 annually BTW. http://www1.salary.com/Morgue-Attendant-Salaries.html 27 Likes 1 Share |

This myth has been going on for as long as I can remember . I think this isn't the general feelings anymore so perhaps no reason for this. 1 Like |

The most important thing is they are earning good living there without indulging in crime or illegal business activities that cause harm to others. It is better than Yahoo-Yahoo, drug trafficking, armed robbery, prostitution, bribery, diversion of public funds, government fund looting, forgery, and credit card fraud! Many graduates with awesome results are here in Nigeria begging for a peanut job to just put food on their table daily, even if it's washing dead people body or carrying dead people to their grave and yet they can't find one...and here we are condemning people earning between $30 - $60 per hour, Nigerians really need to wake up. If you see an opportunity to leave this hell hole of a country to where u can earn a decent income without committing crime, please take the opportunity and go. But if you have the ambition and patience, try entrepreneurship....frankwealth will support you and even train you on how to earn decent income here in Nigeria. We derive joy in helping young people succeed more than us! Well written article 25 Likes 1 Share |

And mind you, its likely Trumps win the next election and that dick headed guy has blown some hots about the blacks that its not even sure that you whey dey give this lecture no go come back home in next 2-3yrs. 1 Like |

That's the mentality most Nigerians have. There're rules and certifications required to do these jobs we frown on back home and they earn a lot. Electrician, Plumbers, Carpenters and the likes earn a lot. But as for me I'd rather go for a white collar job. Get the degrees and rack up the experience shooting myself up the ladder in the industry. Old age and labor jobs don't mix, meaning you'd have to retire earlier than white collar job workers. 1 Like |
