As Peter could thus deny Jesus after having heard God vouch his divinity, and Peter not only escapes punishment but gets the office of gate-keeper to Heaven, how much more should those escape punishment and obtain reward who only deny because they cannot help it, and who have been left without any corroborative evidence of sight or hearing!

Really i've also been thinking about this. then come to think of our christian brothers who havent seen him face to face, or these visions that Peter saw and still believe,

Ever heard of the word 'grace'? grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1v17. It's a lesson of hope for you, that you who'se not 'sinned as much as Peter' can also achieve great things for God's kingdom. The klesson is as simple as that, except you want it in sermon format.
