The political power in edo state shifted last night when the action congress won a re-run election.The election which is a case study for governor oshiomhole in order to fully gain control of the state from the pdp that presently dominate the house of assembly,house of reps & the senate.
The court of appeal ordered a re-run following the nullification of the election of Anslem Agbabi representing Akoko-edo constituency 1 and directed inec to conduct a rerun which took place yesterday but was won by Ac candidate Adjato kabiru with following scores:
pdp-3,644 votes
Ac -5,355
the victory is a show of influence on the part of the governor as it portrays him as being in charge even as his party won Ayegunle ward which is the ward of Tunde Akogun,a member of the house of reps.It also show that the influences of tony annenih,mike akhigbe,samuel ogbemudia of the pdp who are godfathers  is fading off in the state, Congrats comrade governor.
