Yoruba adage says: emi ko wipe kogun maja ko sa ma ti je ninu ara ile mi. Meaning, who ever wants to go to war let him go but provided it does not happen in my immediate backyard. see how the so called bi afraud. and avengers are destroying their environments and causing untold hardships to their people why because Buari is in power. In the first and second republic were they not the ones in power sharing with this same Hausa_Fulani? and in the last 16 years they've held the vice Presidency position, senate presidency several times, secretary to the government of the federation as well as the country's Presidency for continuous six years until about this time last year. All these long period of time there leaders could not do the needful then what else do the want. My candid advice to their elders is to stop them _the youth from destroying their environments as there be no where for them to run to after. They should take cue from the middle destruction crisis. 1 Like |

fiizznation: All this grammar because of oil. Nawa!!! Please come and evacuate and transplant the your to your community and region and let there be peace. For ona mind now, ona be internal colonialists abi? Lol... . I would love to learn of your community's and region's contributions to the Federation Account. You guys must be bringing in a hefty sum to give you the moral justification to talk this condescendingly to a people you claim as part 'one Nigeria'. Anyway, no sane mind supports violence (NDA's methods). Diplomacy, peaceful advocacy is the best path to take. |

chanezzar0world: Go ask your father's why majority of the oil wells in your backyard are owned by northerners while the ones in the southwest are owned by southwestern oil exploration firm, themselves. Then you can come back and retype wat u just typed!!! I'm sure you must be born, trained and bred up in Lagos. |

Nigerian doesn't have even 30gun boats. The solution to this issue is development of the region. Deploying military force doesn't solve any problems. Ask the Americans. |

signz:i concur.. But i wonder why the FG suddenly realized they can use absolute force when it comes to issues affecting oil ,meanwhile boko haram and fulani herdsmen are killing for fun.. Sounds tribalistic to me... So now oil is more important than human life whao... I believe in dialogue but if they FG thinks violence is the way out, they need to be careful so we dont end up having 6 countries from one... 1 Like |

Amother4life: How many people here has been to the ND rural area, and see the destruction done to the area. This same agitation got Saro Wiwa dead yet nothing has changed. Until there is a clear joint development plan and implementation between the states and federal government there will be continued pocket of militancy in that region. For long the ND people has been seen as minorities, and have no say on what happens on their land further destroyed by military rule. I don't think any of the major tribes will allow this in their dormain. While violence and militarization of ND is not the best solution. Nigerians should demand federal government investment in the area, not the current settlement of some few while the huge majority suffers.GBTPN |
