Bill On Loans For Undergraduates Passes Second Reading by Adieza(m): 8:55pm On May 31, 2016 |
A bill seeking to make Federal Government to provide loan to students to pursue tertiary education passed second reading at the House of Representatives on Tuesday. Speaking on the bill, its sponsor, Femi Gbajabiamila (APC-Lagos), said that it was intended to provide students with easy access to funds for higher education. Gbajabiamila said that a great population of Nigerian students would be enrolled for higher education if the bill scaled was successful. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/bill-loans-undergraduates-passes-second-reading/ 5 Likes 2 Shares

Perfect this is just perfect.. even if I won't benefit from it because I've gone past tertiary institution, it's very good too so as for others who have the intentions of completing their education but due to lean resources can carry on now But I'd like to know if there's modalities to accessing such funds because if it's not spelt it properly, it might bring about misuse and eventually been hijacked for political purposes order than for which it has been mapped out to achieve Happy new month Nairalanders If you think this is a very welcomed development from the house of Representatives click like 14 Likes |

This is a tricky bill o!! The U.S already gives out Student loans to undergraduates for school fees and stuff and the problem remains paying back those loans. Especially with the low unemployment in the Nation. This bill may sound like the ideal bill, but it can come back to bite you all in the asses and you will be the ones complaining about your debt profile in the future. 5 Likes 1 Share |

End time Loan! that bill should be killed immediately on the floor of House of reps! the bill is completely irrelevant! rich politician children will be given the loans against the poor/hustlers! yeye dey smell 4 dat floor of House of reps! children of rich politicians, political thugs will be favoured! how will undergraduates from humble background have access to the loan! there are other pressing issues like construction of roads, reduction of petrol price etc for our legislators to tackle instead of this rubbish! kwaruption loading! 1 Like |
