Creamish:
For some of the grieving victims of the alleged criminals, its justice well served..especially in a nation where d police are easily swayed to turn a blind eye to justice.

But for those with a working conscience, it is barbaric. I don't stand for it.

Nigeria needs to work on the justice system so we can believe in it. Till then, JJ will still be the order of the day. sadly...
Nigerians are apes actually in the eyes of the rest of the world.

Yes...for deserving politicians...their greed, ineptitude & incompetence is the reason OP has to ask this question in the first place.

Nobody will derives joy in jungle justice, it is becoming more popular in the society because our justice system is too poor. Some people see it like if IBEDC or PHCN cannot supply me electricity, its not bad if i buy generator for my use.

It can only be abolished with good community policing and judicial system.

The truth is most jungle justice participants are damaged and just enjoy carrying out their sick fantasies when given the opportunity. If you can stand beating up a human to pulp and then setting them ablaze no matter the reason, then you have lost a vital part of what makes you human- "empathy". You've also set a part of yourself ablaze in those same flames. To the JJ participants You are more the monster than they are, because you could've easily killed them with a single blow to the head if it was justice you desired, but you needed that thrill of torture, the sounds of pain, the smell of blood, the sight of human insides and the smell of burning human, you needed to satisfy your sick fantasies, that is what you desired and not justice. Why else will you pick up the nearest tire at the faintest sound of the phrase "thief o", that surge of adrenaline you get at the prospect of torture and death, its yourself you kill.

Well said bro,we do not support crime of any sort. A suspect should be given the opportunity to defend himself based on the accusations leveled against him/her. Jungle justice is a dehumanising and sacrilegious act. We cannot sit here and just talk about this because it has been going on for ages and no one has done anything about it. All has been done is still wat we are doing. This menace must not be left to continue. I think we should push for a bill to specifically enact laws abolishing Jungle justice in our country. SAY NO TO JUNGLE JUSTICE!!!
