My wife was doing a program in Belgium on Scholarship. I was doing a program UK - paid. I didn't really like books. I was never the scholarship type. We had been writing and emailing for a while. Skype had just come out, and we began to Skype - Voice only no video back then.

I wanted to propose as I had always seen on TV. But I didn't quite know what my fiancée's finger size would be. I called a cousin of mine and asked him how he got the ring finger size of his girl. And he told me of how he trickishly measured her finger on a date. Well, unlike him I was in a distance relationship. So I just boned it. Walked into Argos and searched the jewelry section. The jewelry of course was sold in sizes. I measured my small finger and thought, well that should size her own big finger. Purchased the ring and began planning my air ticket to Belgium.

I had told her I was coming to visit but she didn't know I was coming to propose. We had been distance relating for about 1 solid year. but had know each other for about 10years from school, UI.

The air flight was wonderful. Then it was a joke for us. As per I was already overseas in UK. And I then took a flight to Belgium. So I was overseas-Overseas 2nd time. We met in Belgium after years of separation emails, Skype and prayers.

I took her out. Well, we both took each other out as the country no be our own. And whist taking softly to her, I just knelt down on the ground. Brought out the ring from my pocket and asked her to marry me.

Na so I see am for film. I'm not all that romantic and I never discuss my romantic life with anybody. Not in school, not after school. I have always been shy of girls from childhood. This Girl was the ONE. I just liked her qualities right from Naija here.

She had tears in her eyes and said yes.

We got married Nov 2008. 2 Kids.
We came back to Nigeria shortly after our wedding in UK.

I will not put up any pictures here. My pictures are in my wedding album. meant for family and friends.

Me that my fiancee was Overseas in Belgium and I was Overseas in UK and I went over-over seas to Belgium and knelt down and proposed to her with a ring and then after her program she came Overseas to Belgium to UK and we married in UK with all parental consent given before we later returned to Nigeria?
How my own supposed to come and be. now in your opinion?
