Should Buhari Appoint Jonathan, As Special Envoy To Niger Delta? by suasmablow(m): 4:15pm On Jun 02, 2016
A Socio-Political group, Assembly of Concern Niger Delta People, has appealed to President
Muhammadu Buhari to appoint his predecessor, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, as special envoy to Niger Delta.
The National Coordinator of the group, Eperemor Governor, made the appeal in a statement on Thursday in Benin.
According to Governor, the appointment will help to reduce the present hostility by the Niger Delta Avengers, which has been responsible
for the blowing-up of oil installations in the region.
He said as an indigene of the area, and former governor of Bayelsa State, the former president would help to bridge the gap between the region and the Federal Government.

Buhari refused to help out in the Boko Haram saga in 2013 when it was a national embarrassment. He maintained that the insurgency in the north will end if only he becomes president.

As God would have it, he's now president. He should deal with it.

Just as Buhari refused to condemn or help call his boko boy to order during GEJ's tenure, GEJ will sit out this one neutrally. As a wise man he will refuse to be involved. Do me, I do you. God no go vex!

That will be an insult to the personality of GEJ.buhari looked for trouble, without GEj's consent,he should also look for special envoys without GEJ's consent.

Ordinarilly, this would ve been a welcomed idea! But looking at APC, I believe it will be a wrong move cos some idiots/ political sycophants are already saying trash about GEJ being the one behind the militancy!!!

It will so appalling and shameful if Buhari makes such a step. The same man he's been busy with his band of blind guides vilifying at every given opportunity, now calls into leadership position? I trust GEJ to be smart enough to turn down such an insulting offer, if at all they'll be any.
