This is just to correct the earlier post which attributed the honor of being 2nd Nigerian secretary general of OPEC to the incumbent. In fact the first Nigerian OPEC secretary general was late chief M. O.FEYIDE from Ipele in Ondo state. He was in office from 1st January 1975 until 31st December 1976 The second Nigerian OPEC secretary general was late chief Rilwanu Lukman who was in office from 1st January 1995 until 31st December 2000 The third Nigerian OPEC secretary general was Mr Edmund Daukoru who was In office from 1st January 2006 until 31st December 2006 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Secretaries_General_of_OPEC |
