its crystal clear that Nigeria problem is not many. take away Muslims from the northern part of Nigeria n there will be maximum peace in the country, an average Muslim man or woman in the northern part of Nigeria has tendency for terrorism, killing n maiming is in their system. God is all powerful need not be fought for unless is a weak god. this act of killing people for blasphemy as they claim is barbaric n I urge Islamic leaders n scholars in Nigeria to stop preaching hatred n violence. God help Nigeria 1 Like 1 Share |

ibez007: You deceive only yourself? This is part of the markings for the end of one Nigeria. The twelve northern Nigeria states that adopted sharia criminal codes had since carved out their new Islamic sharia country from Nigeria. Problem is that a most apolitical section of southern Nigeria don't even understand that. This most apolitical group in the south keeps on blackmailing rest of the south who want to leave Nigeria peacefully. Without this most apolitical group in the south, the rest in the south can forcefully free themselves from Nigeria and the north can't do much about it 2 Likes 1 Share |

[quote author=ceo247frolic post=46251488]There are reports making the rounds on Twitter about a woman, Bridget Patience allegedly murdered for “blasphemy” against Prophet Muhammad. According to Sahara Reporters, Angry Muslims youths in Kano on Thursday evening decapitated a woman trader over allegations that she blasphemed Prophet Muhammad. The victim, who was said to be of Igbo extraction was accused of blasphemy during a religious argument at Wambai market. The woman, who sells plastics at the local market was in the company of her husband when she was murdered. The report also said that the Public Relations Officer of the Kano Police Command, DSP Musa Magaji, confirmed the incident, saying: ”At about 4 30 pm, there was a disagreement between the murdered woman and some traders bordering on religion. The woman was said to have blasphemed Prophet Mohammed, which did not go down well with the mob”. Magaji said that the woman was in the company of her husband when the incident happened but the timely intervention of the police saved the husband, who was immediately whisked for safety. Nigerians on twitter have condemned the act. The west, south and east can't behead a woman for blasphemy without been shot by the police or army in that state ,only the northerners are above the law and we believe we are in one nigeria, seriously I'm tired of one nigeria where some people are above the law ,I even heard police men are powerless in the north, they only respect the army ,I forbid anything that will make me travel or visit any northerner state 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kenneth C Cole If the reported mob killing of a woman in Kano State for blasphemy against the Islamic religion by Islamic extremists is anything to go by, then it is highly condemnable and totally barbaric. The Islamists keep re-echoing the message that Islam is a religion of peace, yet these acts and most especially terrorism keeps re-occurring by these extremists in the name of "Allah". One thing every believer in religion needs to realize and should be preached by every religious stakeholder is that " no one wrote religious entrance exam before coming to this world" we all came in and met religion and where someway, somehow inducted into it. No one can fight "God's fight". Every muslim Faithful and stakeholder needs to rise up to the challenge and save their religion from these extremists. The Kano state Government should also make sure that the perpetrators are brought to book and prosecuted according to the laws of the land without any religious interference. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria like former soviet unoin nation with different languages and tribes, religions, ethnicity, colour, welbeing. All mentioned above also applies to Nigeria as a nation. Soviet union as never had a single moment of peace until the union processes was broken into pieces which led to war and at the end, soviet uion was breaking into Tits bits of different countries (e.g solvenia, slovakia, Kosovo, kaygestan, turkismenia, Ukraine, Russia e.t.c which they are all enjoying till today and no more war berween them beause every tribe had gone on seperate ways everybody knows its boundaries. Therefore if nigeria can down this root it would be of great help, or what do think of this suggestions. Peace to Nigeria. 1 Like |

Religion should never be used as a basis for the killing of innocent people who 'blasphemed' or for any other reason. Islam is very conflicted even within their ranks some support the violent nature while the others support the peaceful nature so it is very confusing and their holy book is conflicted between peaceful and violent undertones |
