The former heavyweight boxing champion, Mohammed Ali has been confirmed dead at age 74.
Ali was admitted on Tuesday in a United States hospital in Phoenix for a respiratory problem.

Born Cassius Clay before converting to Islam, Ali has been suffering from Parkinson's Disease, which makes movement difficult with shaky hands. He made boxing appear so easy and was noted for " I am gonna float like a butterfly and sting like a bee" statement.

Notable among Ali's fights was the Rumble is a Jungle fight between him and George Foreman in Kinshasa, Zaire. Ali was in the limelight during the times of Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, etc.

We will miss him dearly.
