Got Any Sane Business Ideas Anyone? by 1forall: 1:10pm On Nov 24, 2006
Hello,
I'm seeking genuine, sane business ideas to present to a willing financier and Id like to hear a few smart opinions from the mass of intelligent people who use this portal. I have a couple myself but I know more heads are always better than less. Pease note the capital base is not unlimited and that viable business usually starts small. It could be entrepreneural or service oriented (or anything else, lets just hear it first)
If it sounds good we sure can continue discussion by email.
Cheers folks.

Hi,
Your email is hidden. We're working on Gemstone mining and export. Already made some small exports but require capital to meet demand.
How do we discuss this further?

I doubt that anyone would be willing to share concrete business ideas with a total stranger unless of course, it would be beneficial to them. Be a bit more specific and look for partnership opportunities

I understand your point cutee but i'm being optimistic here and I dont think nigerians will get themselves involved in any venture that wont profit them. Stay cool.

1forall dis not how to go about it. i really don't believe u can buy ideas without d owner(we all av diff interests & competencies-there intrinsic things/qualities dat makes Seun' determined 2 stay in tech/IT dat don't have. even if i know/steal his ideas-i might execute til i make it mine) so are u a financier looking 4 partners/ u just want 2 have/buy others' ideas?

Abi seun I tire o.
but my fear is - once i tell somebody the person might hijack it. Please, if anyone is really serious let him contact me jaittojeffrey@yahoo.com or call my business line on +2348020548243. However, the person should be ready to let us meet and discuss it one-on-one.
And what gives u the impression that the person can't go on and hijack it even after meeting u? I believe no one can perfectly hijack another person's business idea, anyone who does does so at his own risk, I mean what if u don't have knowledge of the field, or what do u do when u come across unscripted situations?
And then really, the market in naija is so big that theres more than enough for everyone (have u heard the census results?). For example; I bet no one is seriously thinking of creating another forum like nairaland even though the market exists, afterall, therere only 65K+ users here; bottom line, share please, thats the big idea!

i don't think anyone will be willing to share any business ideas publicly, except they really do not know how to go about it by themselves. By the way, who would want to partner with any naija guy; giving the extent of fraud and deception in naija.
