Guy, things does not work like that. The money recovered is not in this year budget, so they can not just start using it.
You think its ok for all the states to keep running on deficits while they wait for another year's budget?

You guys are the worst form of opposition known to civilization and you will go to any length to discredit this government. They said they've recovered funds from your thieving kinsmen and their likes, you lots said its a lie/scam, some even said they are victimizing their brothers and tin-gods. You said they should release the amount they've recovered so far, to the point that you came up with hashtags and what not. They did eventually with details and explanation but I guess most of you are damn too lazy to read and comprehend simple reports. Now you have deviced another boogie like this poop up here. You guys are simply incorrigible sad cry shocked. We don't care about your dead analysis and feelings any longer because its not from a place of sincerity for the development of this country or its hardworking and honest law abiding people. You are the real enemies of Nigeria and if you want to support thieves? by all means. Nothing comes easy in life and the government should just be focused and bring about real development to this country and leave these divisive and retrogressive people in their ignorance.
This sort of response is the reason for the current uneasiness in the polity. You failed to simply respond to the issues raised. You feel we should never ask questions or make inquiries about the actions of our government. Its unfortunate. We are a democracy and a responsive government (words or actions) improves its credibility. Next time, try responding to the issues. Thanks

There are so many children of hate on NL. Mostly 18 to 25 who doesn't even know how the world works not to talk about how government is runned. But you see them making useless analysis conjuring bias facts and mostly out of hatred.
They 're not interested in the growth of Nigeria but they want to show how PMB has failed to portray him in negative light.
Sir henryhemon, at the height of your maturity, this is all you could conjure up? I am disappointed. Why the heck is he after Chinese or world bank loans, when he claims he has 3. 4 trillion recovered? Give your clear matured response as a man in his sixties!

You guys need to get some sense! The recovered loot was not all in cash. Also, the recovered money must be appropriated by the National Assembly before it can be spent!! Why are you guys blinded by hatred for Buhari to make silly, infantile comments on serious issue of national importance? Shameless lot!!!
One simple question: Who appropriated the money used for Bokoharam amnesty programme, rebuilding of the North east and bail out to mainly APC states? You guys are unbelievable!

With all these facts, a nigeria graduate will still find a way to support the govt.

Truly people go to school to aquire knowledge not wisdom.

Even Abacha loot recovery is an achievement in this APC govt
The same abacha bubu said never touched Nigeria's penny?

Save your megabytes, my dear. The partisan crowd that follows Buhari does not care whether the economy is crumbling, whether times are hard, or indeed whether Nigerians are dying of hunger. They'll start hurling abuses at you.

Funny posts everywhere

The op is talking about salaries being owed? Please is the federal government owing any worker?
The state governments were owing salaries for months before buhari became president he came in and gave them bail out both pdp and a pc... Whose fault is that

I sincerely can't understand why we enjoy peddling falsehood.

The government through Prof. Sagay made it clear that they have recovered a little over N115bn and that they have frozen assets worth about N1.9 trillion.

They also made it clear that they cannot touch the frozen assets because the courts have not made a pronouncement on them.

Pray tell, where did you get your figure of N3.4 trillion naira from??!!!

Seeing comments on different threads in support of the government led me to two conclusion.

People will believe what they want to believe and

Nigerians deserve the leaders that they get.

Are you devilishly wishing Nigeria back to Jonathan's era or do you think every Nigeria is as deluded as you have chosen to be ? Would you rather we continue with a Jonathan that was securing loans to pay workers salary just to look good or a Buhari that is stroking us along this bump with his ingenuity. Did Iweala not tell you to be prepared for the .bumpy road ahead, a bump she categorically declared will smashed the facade of the largest Africa economy the Jonathan admin brandished to fool gullible igbos like you OP.

OP can you list one oil producing.country with a mono economy such as Nigeria that failed to save and is presently not going through a crunch ? Forget about Venezuela Argentina Angola n co even Russia is feeling the crunch. OP find out how many multiple of round the rouble tumbled because of the low crude price rates. That is a developed economy with more than enough forex saving, talkless of a not only battered Nigeria handed over by the most heartless cretins from Otueke who thought his carelessness will never be discovered.

You need to get a dossier in NOI warning concerning the impending hardship coming, she used the term time to soak garri to emphasis what you are to expect. OP you never see anything if your seat is not fasten you are sitting on a long rod. Nigeria economy is doing bad because your godfathers ruined it, Buhari is no magician and in fact he isnt doing too well with the economy but whatever buhari is doing to manage the situation from degenerating further is a billion times beta than what your clueless drunk offerred to sink the economy further. If you consider the clown went on a sending spree over the last election upon discovering that the reserve is depleted and we are expecting an unavoidable crunch you will discover your like deserve to be stone to death for sidestepping the truth even when it is vividly glaring for all to see.

What I'm saying is they wouldn't have categorize them as forfeits if they want to make ppl belive they are all cash recoveries...

But how much did they claim was recovered? If you say 3.4 trillion has been recovered and then go ahead to classify some as forfeit should we agree that 3.4 trillion has been recovered?
